Why Choose Linked Community Services

Acknowledgement of Country

Linked Community Services acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we work throughout Australia and specifically in the Port Macquarie and Port Stephens regions, the Birpai and Worimi people. We pay our respect to them, their culture and Elders past present and emerging.

Important Message from the CEO

Linked Community Services is available to provide transport services for the elderly and frail during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the coronavirus circumstances change rapidly, we remain an essential service to the community.

We have implemented extensive hygiene and social distancing precautions to help prevent the spread of the virus and most importantly, to keep our clients, staff and volunteers healthy and safe.

It is important to note, if you have transport booked and you are not feeling well or are showing any symptoms of the coronavirus such as shortness of breath, coughing, fever or sore throat, please stay at home, seek medical advice and inform our team immediately.

We also understand, many members in our community are being challenged with buying their day-to-day needs in local supermarkets. If you know someone who needs assistance with their shopping or any other transport during this time, please contact us on (02) 6583 8644 and we will do our very best to help.

As we continue to monitor the situation closely and follow Government protocols, we will be sure to keep you informed. For broader information, please refer to the official Australian Department of Health website.

Kind Regards,
Wendy Skimmings
